Casey Inge
University Counsel, Georgetown University

Casey Inge has worked in higher education for more than 15 years. Since 2009, he has been an attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the University of Idaho, where he is currently Senior Associate General Counsel. In this role, he is primarily responsible for matters related to research grants and contracts, research compliance, and intellectual property. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, he acted as special assistant to University of Idaho Provost and to the Vice President for Research, who he advised on policy and programmatic matters. He has also served as chair of the University of Idaho Institutional Review Board. Before moving to Idaho, he worked in the office of the Dean of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He serves on the Committee on Continuing Legal Education for the National Association of College and University Attorneys (“NACUA”) and had presented on and acted as moderator for panels at a number of NACUA conferences and workshops.
 
He received his J.D. from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 2009. In 2003, he was awarded his Ph.D. in English Literature, with an emphasis on critical theory, from the University of California, Irvine. He graduated from Yale University, with a B.A. in English, in 1992.
